Executive Producer and Production Manager bring decades of experience to the highly anticipated debut feature.

6MP Films, a rising force in independent filmmaking, is thrilled to announce the attachment of Executive Producer John Wolfe and Production Manager Chloe Koegel to their upcoming sci-fi feature, The Travelers Team. This exciting addition to the production marks another milestone in the development of the film, set to begin production in early 2025.

John Wolfe, known for his extensive work with both Independent and Studio productions, brings decades of experience to The Travelers Team. With a résumé that spans a variety of high-profile projects, including High Fidelity, Prison Break and Vacation, Wolfe’s expertise and passion for practical filmmaking will be instrumental in bringing 6MP Films’ ambitious vision to life.

“We have to make this – and we have to make it practically,” commented Wolfe, reflecting on his enthusiasm for the project. His commitment to authenticity aligns with the core values of 6MP Films, ensuring that the film will captivate audiences with a unique blend of practical effects and strong storytelling.

Chloe Koegel, who joins the team as Production Manager, has spent the last six years working with Lionsgate, MGM and A24 Entertainment in various roles, gaining a reputation for her organizational prowess and dedication to quality production. Koegel’s experience with independent films makes her a perfect fit for the innovative direction 6MP Films is taking.

“Every person who has come on board, from Kevin, John, and Chloe to the actors and actresses, has done so because of the strength of the story,” remarked Trisha Gianesin, founder of 6MP Films and writer/director of The Travelers Team. “It’s truly remarkable to see such talented people rally around a script that resonates with them.”

Kevin Otterness, the award-winning cinematographer already attached to the project, echoed these sentiments: “You had my full attention on page one.” Otterness’s addition to the team was a significant development in the early stages of production, solidifying the film’s potential to push the boundaries of sci-fi storytelling.

The buzz surrounding The Travelers Team continues to grow as the film moves closer to casting named talent and ramping up its funding efforts through September and October. The project has already garnered interest from industry insiders and investors alike, with its compelling narrative and commitment to practical effects positioning it as a standout in the competitive sci-fi genre.

Actor Ethan Lyvers, who has been involved with the script from the early stages, praised the film’s originality, stating: “The script tells a fascinating story, full of colorful characters and riveting plot twists. It is truly an original sci-fi thriller, which is hard to come by anymore.”

With this being 6MP Films’ first feature following the completion of two short films and a web talk series, the company is laser-focused on delivering a film that will resonate with both sci-fi fans and mainstream audiences. As the project builds momentum, the team’s dedication to storytelling and visual excellence continues to be at the forefront of its mission.
