At 75 years old, Mike Mahoney walked into a recording studio almost on a lark, deciding to record songs he had originally written 55 years earlier. His intention was simple and deeply personal: to create a legacy album for his children and grandchildren.
What started as a way to preserve pieces of his musical past became something much bigger.
For the movie, Mike has written an entirely original soundtrack, creating the songs and tracks specifically to accompany and enhance the story. The music is not simply a collection of songs placed alongside the film—it is an integral part of the storytelling, reflecting the characters, memories, relationships, and emotional moments that drive the narrative.
