Janson Media, a leader in independent film distribution, brings THE FOREST to a global audience, ensuring that this genre-defying South African production reaches viewers far and wide. With a dubbed English version available as well.

Boasting a stellar South African cast, THE FOREST features Ruan Wessels (Wyfie, Binnelanders), Simone Neethling (Eenkeer om die Son, Koek and Spinners), Roderick Jaftha (Villa Rosa), Charlie Bougenon (Homeland, Vuilwasgoed), Solomon Cupido (Frankie & Felipe), and Roy van Eck (The Hex). The film has already garnered critical acclaim, earning Best Feature at the Red Brick Road Film Festival and securing a highly anticipated African premiere at the prestigious Joburg Film Festival.

Produced by Twin Hearts Productions in association with Sonvelt Media, THE FOREST was brought to life by Mari Molefe van Heerden (The Hex, Villa Rosa), Hendrik Cronje (Liewe Lisa, Relatief Jonk), and Reine Swart (Z Nation, Triggered), who also wrote the screenplay and edited the film.
