BYUtv’s “Studio C” Renewed for Seasons 17 & 18
BYUtv, the home of inspiring family entertainment – available over cable, satellite and free streaming – today announced the renewal of long-running "Studio C" for two more seasons with a fall premiere of season 17 and a season 18 premiere in spring 2024. Season 18 will kick off with a celebratory hour-long 200th episode featuring 18 past and current cast members, including the return of all 10 originals. Every aired episode of the show is always available to stream for free on the BYUtv app and at BYUtv.org, and sketches will continue to be featured across social media.
Cinedigm Acquires All North American Rights to “Shaky Shivers”
Cinedigm has acquired all North American rights to the 80s-inspired horror comedy Shaky Shivers, from director Sung Kang, known for his role as Han in Fast X which hits theaters this Friday. The Company plans to release Shaky Shivers in theaters this fall, followed by an exclusive release on its horror streaming platform SCREAMBOX.

Cinedigm Acquires All US Rights to Japanese Remake of CUBE
Cinedigm has acquired all US rights to the Japanese sci-fi horror movie CUBE. A remake of the 1997 award-winning Canadian cult classic, CUBE takes a deeper, darker and deadlier look at isolation and gore. Cinedigm plans to release the remake on its horror streaming platform, SCREAMBOX, which is powered by Bloody Disgusting, on April 11 as a SCREAMBOX Original.
MHz Choice Brings ‘Homicide Hills’ to US Audiences this April
German crime comedy Homicide Hills (Beta Films) brings a big city detective to lead a tiny police force in the most rural of towns. Sophie Haas (Caroline Peters, Tatort) is "promoted" out of her role as detective in Cologne and moves to a backwoods tumbleweed of a town with her father in tow. The fictional rural outpost of Hengasch in the Eifel mountains is not exactly teeming with open cases. The police department's two officers - Sergeant Dietmar Schäffer (Bjarne Mädel, Crime Scene Cleaner) and Officer Barbel Schmied (Meike Droste) are more caretakers than overworked sleuths.
