Produced by Twin Hearts Productions in association with Sonvelt Media, THE FOREST was brought to life by Mari Molefe van Heerden (The Hex, Villa Rosa), Hendrik Cronje (Liewe Lisa, Relatief Jonk), and Reine Swart (Z Nation, Triggered), who also wrote the screenplay and edited the film. Industry veterans Andre Velts (Showmax’s Reenboogrant, Knysna) and Sone Combrinck (Reenboogrant, KykNet’s Getroud met Rugby) from Sonvelt Media provided valuable post-production expertise, elevating the final product. Philip van Zyl (Reenboogrant) served as Director of Photography, crafting the film’s breathtaking and immersive world.
