The Elvis Suite

Firewood on Main Street, 306 Main St., Park City, UT 84060 – January 23-27, 2025

Film critic Elvis Mitchell teams up with Darling&Co. to present The Elvis Suite, an invitation-only hub for thought-provoking discussions with Hollywood’s finest. The festivities kick off January 23 with an opening celebration for Jimpa, starring Olivia Colman and John Lithgow. Highlights include Colman and Lithgow discussing their roles (Jan. 24, 10:15 AM), Cynthia Erivo engaging audiences (Jan. 24, 1:30 PM), and Sarah Jessica Parker with The Librarians team (Jan. 24, 4:30 PM).

The schedule continues with appearances by Rose Byrne (Jan. 25, 9:30 AM), Questlove (Jan. 25, 1:00 PM), and Ryan Coogler (Jan. 25, 3:00 PM). 

That evening, the Spotlight On Tomorrow panel launches Walker’s Rising Stars National Scholarship Program (6:00 PM), featuring Kimberly Cole, Rachel Fleit, and Jimmy Akingbola in a discussion moderated by Deadline editor Dominic Patten.

Other marquee moments include Benedict Cumberbatch and Dylan Southern’s conversation on The Thing with Feathers (Jan. 26, 12:00 PM), followed by closing sessions with Eugene Hernandez and Kim Yutani (Jan. 27, 1:30 PM) and Quentin Tarantino (Jan. 27, 5:00 PM).

Sommsation Wine Lounge

Jackson’s Hideaway Ski Lounge, 900 Main Street, Park City, UT – January 24-27, 2025

The third annual Sommsation Wine Lounge returns to Sundance, offering an indulgent retreat for wine enthusiasts. Kicking off January 24, the lineup includes curated VIP tastings (12:00 PM), The Art of Pairing (7:00 PM), and Wines & Vibes with DJ Joune (9:30 PM).

On January 25, all-day tastings begin at 11:00 AM, while January 26 features premium VIP experiences (12:00 PM) with reserve wines and live chef demonstrations, culminating in the Vines & Vinyl evening event (7:00 PM). The lounge closes on January 27 with the PowerFlix Launch Party (7:00 PM).

Indie Directors’ Lounge

The Cabin, 427 Main Street, Park City, UT 84060 – January 24-26, 2025

Presented by Ericka Nicole Malone Entertainment, the Indie Directors & Creators Lounge celebrates diverse voices under the theme Cashmere and Chocolate. Festivities begin January 24 with a meet-and-greet with Malone (1:00 PM) and performances by DJ Spinderella and Jessica Betts (5:00 PM).

Day two features a conversation with Niecy Nash-Betts (1:00 PM) and a set by DJ Pee Wee (Anderson .Paak) at 8:30 PM. The event closes on January 26 with performances by the Salt Lake City Mass Choir (11:00 AM) and gospel legend Mali Music (12:30 PM).

SkillHouse World Premiere & Gala After-Party on Main Street

The Music Lodge Treasure Mountain Inn, 255 Main Street, Park City, UT 84060 – January 24, 2025

The influencer-driven horror film SkillHouse debuts January 24, produced by GenTV and 50 Cent in partnership with Group Black. Directed by Saw franchise veteran Josh Stolberg, the film stars 50 Cent, McCarrie McCausland, Bryce Hall, and Neil McDonough.

The premiere begins with media check-ins at 7:30 PM, followed by the red carpet at 8:00 PM. The celebration continues at the Black Rock Mountain Resort Gala After-Party.

Special Screening: Pasta Negra

Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St., Park City, UT 84060 – January 24, 2025

Venezuelan-Canadian filmmaker Jorge Thielen Armand brings his moving short Pasta Negra to the festival as part of Shorts Program 2. The screening, which highlights the resilience of Venezuelan women amid the humanitarian crisis, begins January 24 at 12:00 PM, following press check-ins at 10:30 AM.

After-Party: Serious People

Private Location – January 27, 2025

The film Serious People, directed by Pasqual Gutierrez and Ben Mullinkosson, explores identity and work-life boundaries through the story of a music video director and his doppelgänger. Following its Sundance debut, an exclusive after-party will take place January 27 at 10:00 PM
