Sandy Aouad is a name you’ll soon hear everywhere—from fashion-forward runways to the most anticipated movie screens. This Lebanese-born creative has conquered the fashion world with her unique brand, Sagoma di Sandy. Now, she’s making an impressive entrance into cinema with her debut feature film, Beauty of Poverty. It’s a bold move for someone under 25, but Sandy’s journey, ambition, and creativity suggest it’s only the beginning of what promises to be a remarkable career.

Born in the ancient coastal city of Byblos on June 3, 1999, and raised in Beirut, Sandy’s path wasn’t typical. After spending her formative years at Collège des Pères Antonins Baabda, she earned her Bachelor’s in Translation from the American University of Science and Technology. A brief detour into law was cut short when her creative spark took over, leading her to Paris to study Fashion Image and Business at the renowned Istituto Marangoni. Her time in Paris wasn’t just about learning the industry but building the foundations of her fashion empire. By 2021, she launched her brand, Sagoma di Sandy, which operates out of Paris and Dubai.

Her designs focus on inclusivity and celebrating feminine forms, a theme that runs deeply through her fashion philosophy. Combining high-quality fabrics with a flair for bold silhouettes, she’s made corsets part of everyday wear, adding a modern twist to classical forms. The label quickly gained attention, making Sandy a fixture at the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals and fashion weeks in Paris and Milan.

While her work in fashion earned her accolades, Sandy’s aspirations were not limited to the runway. In 2023, she ventured into film, financing and producing her first SAG-AFTRA feature film. But her upcoming project, Beauty of Poverty, set for release in 2025, showcases her range as both a producer, writer, and actress. The film’s storyline hits close to home—it chronicles the journey of a young Lebanese woman pursuing fame in Los Angeles, only to confront unexpected tragedy. Exploring the darker side of ambition, the movie reflects Sandy’s struggles as she navigated her way from Lebanon to the Hollywood limelight.

This project is more than just another venture—it’s deeply personal for Sandy. Beauty of Poverty explores themes of sacrifice, fame, and the often hidden costs of pursuing success. By producing, writing, and starring in the film, she’s proved herself a multi-talented force to be reckoned with. The story will resonate with anyone who has faced the price of chasing their dreams.

With millions of followers on social media, Sandy Aouad’s influence is rapidly growing. She is a rising star, from her eye-catching fashion designs to her powerful cinematic storytelling. The beauty of Poverty will solidify her place in fashion and film as she continues her ascent to global stardom.

As the 2025 release of Beauty of Poverty approaches, it’s clear that Sandy Aouad is not just breaking boundaries—she’s rewriting the rulebook for what it means to be a modern multi-hyphenate in Hollywood.
