Grayson Thorne Kilpatrick, born in Huntsville, Alabama on April 1, 2004, is a young actor whose commitment to his craft far outweighs the playful jests about his April Fool’s Day birthday. Throughout his teens, Grayson has amassed an impressive array of experiences in student, independent, and feature films, along with TV shows including “Documentary Now!”, “Chicken Girls: The Movie”, “This Isn’t Working”, “Daddy’s Home”, and “Outcast” on Cinemax. His performances extend to Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later”, “Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell”, “Vikes”, “American Horror Story”, “To Tell The Truth”, and FX’s “Dave”. His talents will soon be showcased in the TBS/Roku Channel sitcom “Chad”, starring alongside SNL alum Nasim Pedrad and Jake Ryan.
“Chad” humorously chronicles the life of a 14-year-old Persian boy in high school, grappling with fitting in, his mother’s dating life, and his cultural identity. Nasim Pedrad plays the lead, adding a unique twist as both creator and actor. Each episode, roughly 20-24 minutes, showcases Chad in various high school scenarios and home life challenges.
The show, a Warner Brothers production, initially received a warm reception and was renewed for a second season in 2021. However, after TBS shifted its focus to non-scripted shows, “Chad” was left in limbo before being picked up by the Roku Channel for airing in 2024.
In the second season, Grayson takes on the recurring role of Ethan, appearing in episodes “Class President”, “Senor Doobs”, and “American Boy”.

Grayson’s acting journey began unexpectedly following a traumatic home invasion. His parents enrolled him in Child Play Therapy, which sparked his passion for performing arts. In 2012, after meeting actor Grayson Russell, he was inspired to pursue acting. His first film experience came with a role in “Space Warriors” in 2013. Subsequently, Grayson trained at Hollywood Huntsville under Bill and Ayoka Billions, and later at Gray’s Studio in Los Angeles.
His screen debut was in “Campin Buddies”, working with renowned actors such as Tom Lester, Ray Stevens, Don Most, and Victoria Jackson. In 2016, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time and has been a SAG-AFTRA member since.
Grayson’s creative pursuits also include writing and directing. In 2017, he wrote the SAG Short Film “John Foley: Motivationally Speaking”, earning a Best Actor award at the Young Artist Awards.
Aspiring to expand his acting range, Grayson aims to work with notable filmmakers and actors, drawing inspiration from James McAvoy and Robert Downey Jr. He aspires to roles that showcase his versatility across various genres.
Represented by Luber Roklin Entertainment in Los Angeles and People Store Talent Agency in Atlanta, Grayson Thorne Kilpatrick continues to evolve his craft, driven by a deep love for acting rather than the allure of fame.
