NoHo CineFest Returns This Summer

The 12th Annual NoHo CineFest proudly returns this summer, transforming Glendale into a hub for independent cinema from August 28–31, 2025. Hosted at the state-of-the-art LOOK Dine-In Cinemas Glendale, the festival will present over 100 films from around the world, alongside interactive panels, filmmaker Q&As, and networking events that bring together creators, industry professionals, and passionate film lovers.

This year’s lineup showcases the bold and diverse storytelling that NoHo CineFest is known for. Feature highlights include the neo-noir The Novel directed by Kellen Gibbs, the edgy drama That Creep from the Bar Last Night directed by Michael Coppola, and heartfelt family-centered stories such as The Ashes of a Dream by Joseph Nuzzolo and Designed by Preeti by Gayatri Everitt Bajpai.

The festival’s short film program is equally dynamic, featuring New York standouts like Meatball by Alexandra RobinsonThe Spanish Lesson by Simone Stadler, and Forked by Sarah Goeke, as well as Los Angeles gems such as Two Breaths by Kateryna KurganskaBrotherly Blood by Alejandra Lopez, and Shaba Daba by Tony DeNiro. With its reputation for championing fresh talent, NoHo CineFest continues to provide a vital platform for emerging voices in independent cinema.

“NoHo CineFest has always been about creating a space where filmmakers and audiences connect in meaningful ways,” said Gustavo Sampaio, Festival Director. “In 2025, we’re expanding our reach with more international selections, interactive panels, and special showcases like our Live VR Theater, which offers audiences an immersive experience into the future of storytelling.”

Beyond screenings, festival-goers can look forward to panel discussions with industry leaders, filmmaker Q&As, and exclusive networking opportunities designed to spark collaboration and inspire the next wave of creators. The LOOK Dine-In Cinemas Glendale will serve as the festival’s hub, pairing cutting-edge technology with gourmet dining for an elevated festival experience.

Korean Cultural Center New York presents K-CineFest

The Korean Cultural Center New York (KCCNY), a branch of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, is excited to announce a special series of Korean film screenings, commemorating the grand opening of our new building and auditorium from Thursday, February 29th to Saturday, March 9th, 2024.
