Emmy nominations 2025: The full list of nominees

We’re buzzing over here at IndieWrap—because Adolescence, the gripping British limited series that had us all on edge, just made major waves at the Emmys. And leading the charge? None other than 15-year-old breakout star Owen Cooper, who’s now officially one of the youngest actors ever nominated by the Television Academy.

That’s right—Cooper is up for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or TV Movie, and if he wins, he’ll make Emmy history as the youngest male actor to take home the gold.

It’s a massive moment not just for Cooper, but for the whole Adolescence team. His co-star Ashley Walters is also nominated in the same category, while powerhouse performances by Christine Tremarco and Erin Doherty landed nods for Best Supporting Actress. Stephen Graham, delivering yet another masterclass in acting, is in the running for Best Actor. And yes—Adolescence itself is nominated for Outstanding Limited Series.

Behind the scenes, writer Jack Thorne (collaborating again with Graham) is nominated for his razor-sharp script. That makes a total of 13 nominations for this haunting four-part drama that centers around a 13-year-old boy accused of an unthinkable crime. Chilling, bold, and deeply human—this is exactly the kind of storytelling we champion at IndieWrap.

Still, it’s a competitive year: Severance leads with 27 nominations, followed by The Penguin (24), and The White Lotus (23), with the latter scoring four nominations in the supporting actress in a drama category alone (shoutout to Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, and Aimee Lou Wood).

Meanwhile, the comedy categories are stacked with heavyweights—Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Harrison Ford (Shrinking), and Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) are all battling it out for top acting honors. (Fun fact: This is Ford’s first Emmy nod… at 83!) Brunson also received a nomination for writing, and The Bear, The Studio, Abbott Elementary, and Shrinking are all in the mix for Best Comedy Series.

Let’s not forget reality royalty—RuPaul has now become the most nominated reality host in Emmys history for RuPaul’s Drag Race. Werk!

All eyes will be on Los Angeles for the awards ceremony on September 14. We’ll be watching—and cheering. Especially for Owen.
