Meosha Bean is making her mark in the film industry as a dynamic filmmaker and podcaster. With her engaging work and empowering message, Bean is proving why women can be powerful leaders in creative fields. Named one of ScreenRant’s 10 Black Scream Queens Changing the Face of Horror, filmmaker Meosha Bean has cemented herself as a name to watch in the industry and recently, she celebrated a significant achievement with an award win that recognizes her contributions to the arts.

The Atlanta native who splits her time between ATL and Los Angeles, boasts an impressive list of credits to her name, including both scripted and unscripted projects alike. Meosha has had the wonderful opportunity in her career to work with some amazing names in the industry such as Jordan Peele, Rachel True from the Craft, Tony Todd, Billy Idol, Chris Brown and Eric Roberts to name a few. The award-winning Director has her eyes and goals set on more than just filmmaking, with her other successful endeavor, being her Creator to Creators podcast.

The podcast which was spawned during the height of the pandemic, has amassed a loyal following and garnered the interest from Hollywood heavyweights and personalities, boasting an impressive slew of guests including; Michelle Danner, Xanthi Perdikomatis, Shadoe Stevens and Christopher Batty. The show serves as a platform for artists, filmmakers, and creatives to share their journeys, struggles, and triumphs. Through candid conversations, Bean inspires listeners to embrace their creativity and pursue their passions fearlessly.

It’s crucial to pave the way for future generations, ensuring they see themselves reflected in the narratives being told.  I want every young woman and young man to dream big and push boundaries.” As Ms. Bean continues to build her career, she remains committed to amplifying female voices and fostering inclusivity in the arts. With new projects on the horizon, she is poised to make an even greater impact in the film industry.

Ms Bean’s highly anticipated next project “Church Hurt” is based on a true story and will release as an audio series. The series follows a personal tragedy about a loved one who falls victim to the devastating repercussions of Church Hurt, ultimately succumbing to despair. Bean is also directing the project.

This will mark yet another film in Meosha’s impressive list of credits and another movie completed for 2024.
