Morris Hill Productions is excited to announce the exclusive theater screening of Opportunity, a new indie dramedy from Creative Director Rusty J. Rehl, on September 21st, 2024, in Boise, Idaho. Following the screening, there will be a special Q&A session with the cast and crew, offering audiences a unique chance to delve deeper into the making of this one-of-a-kind film.

Opportunity tells the story of Patrick, a down-on-his-luck 30-something-year-old living in his van, who dreams of owning a home but finds himself roped back into a life of crime by his best friend Donnie. The two must navigate a series of misadventures while confronting an unexpected foe—Mormon gangsters. Shot using guerrilla filmmaking techniques, Opportunity combines raw authenticity with humor, heart, and a gritty portrayal of life on the margins.

Written, directed, and edited by Rusty Rehl, Opportunity showcases his talent for crafting compelling stories from a micro-budget, indie perspective. Rusty Rehl has assembled a dedicated cast and crew who brought passion and ingenuity to every aspect of the production. While the budget may be small, the energy and dedication are immense, resulting in a film that blends humor with hard-hitting moments.

“We’re thrilled to share Opportunity with audiences,” says Rusty Rehl. “This film represents everything I love about indie filmmaking—working with talented people to tell a meaningful story, even when the odds are against you. We poured everything into this, and we’re excited to see how it resonates with viewers.”

The screening event will also be a part of a broader guerrilla marketing campaign to generate buzz around the film’s release. As part of the campaign, USB drives designed to resemble crypto hard wallets featured in the movie will be placed around Boise. These drives contain the Opportunity trailer, posters, and other digital content, inviting the public to engage with the film before its official premiere.

Morris Hill Productions invites Boise locals and indie film lovers alike to attend the screening on September 21st. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
